Description
Powder coating is a safe coloured polymer resin system, combined with curatives, pigments, level agents and other additives. These ingredients are melted, cooled, and ground into a powder. Electrostatic spray deposition is used to achieve the application of powder coating to a metal substrate. The application method uses a spray gun which applies an electrostatic charge to the powder particles. After the application of powder coating, the parts enter a curing oven where, with the addition of heat, the coating chemically reacts to produce a tough finish. Powder Coating is one of the most eco-friendly, long lasting durable finishes available. It is more resistant to chipping, scratching, and fading than any other finishes.
